The Executive Assessment (EA) online is a remote proctored version of the test-center-based Executive Assessment. It’s specifically tailored to enable candidates to meet their business school admission goals from anywhere they can. The availability of both test centers and online exam options makes the executive assessment exam convenient for candidates. With this kind of flexibility, candidates have peace of mind and the confidence to plan their exam strategy. The EA online appointments are available all year round, around the clock. Usually, the test centers avail the testing dates on a rolling basis.
The online version of the EA exam has the same structure as the test center Executive Assessment. It has three sections: Integrated reasoning, verbal reasoning, and Quantitative Reasoning, in that order. The sections appear as follows:
You must complete these sections in that particular order. You can’t skip to the next section and come back later to complete a section. However, you can review and make changes to responses within a section. Once you move to the next section, you can no longer make any changes to a previous section.
For both the section scores and the total score, the Executive assessment online uses the same algorithm and score scale as the test-center-based Executive Assessment. The score scale for each section on the Executive Assessment is 0-20. All sections are equally weighted. The total score scale is 100-200. Since the two score scales are identical, your Executive Assessment Online exam scores are directly comparable to scores from the test center-based exam.
If you take the EA online, you can send your results to as many programs as you want. You can choose a program before taking the test or after you have taken it and received your results. Log in to the Executive Assessment site to access the ability to manage which programs receive your executive assessment results. The official results are usually available to test takers within seven days of taking the executive assessment. Candidates can find their results on their My Account Dashboard under my results.
Your online results will be valid for 5 years.
Executive Assessment online appointments are available 24/7, and you can access the testing dates on a rolling basis. You can access EA online anywhere globally, except for Mainland China, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Cuba. Due to local data privacy regulations, you can only get proctoring support for the Executive Assessment Online in English.
Candidates can easily access the Executive Assessment online as it doesn’t require technical setup to take the test at home. You can take the exam on a Windows or Mac personal computer or laptop. You will also need a webcam, microphone, and speakers.
During the test, you will have access to an online whiteboard to use for scratch work, note-taking, and working through equations.
Review the system requirements well in advance and do a test run of your computer to ensure you’re able to take the exam at home or in the office.
You will need to have a walled room and a closed door, no one else should be able to enter the room while you are taking the test. Prepare your test environment well prior to the testing day to ensure that you are ready.
To register for the Executive Assessment online, you will need to pay a fee of $350, this will cover unlimited reschedules and score sending. You can reschedule your Executive Assessment as much as you need to, up to your scheduled appointment time at no additional cost.
If you cancel an appointment, you must do so at least 24 hours before the appointment time, and you will pay a $100 cancellation fee.
You will have a maximum of two Executive Assessment online attempts. These two attempts do not include any attempts made at a test center or any attempts necessitated by a verified technical issue.
You may schedule your second attempt before or after your first appointment. In case you want to schedule both your attempts in succession, take note that the second appointment must be at least 16 days after the first one.
The Executive Assessment online is remotely proctored. This means that human proctors monitor your session and workspace throughout your test session via live video and audio feeds. The systems record the sessions to ascertain the integrity of the exam.
During check-in, it’s a requirement for you to authenticate your identity using a valid government-issued identification and a recent photo aided by facial recognition technology.
