Professor James Forjan
PhD, CFA
Professor James Forjan has taught college-level finance classes for over 25 years. With a clear passion for teaching, Professor Forjan has worked in the CFA exam preparation industry for decades after earning his charter in 2004.

- Has taught at six different universities (undergraduate and graduate-level finance classes)
- Co-author of several investment books

Martin Stoynov
CFA, FRM, CAIA
Martin has been a finance trainer since 2007. He has taught exam and non-exam courses at top-tier investment banks, asset managers and sovereign wealth funds around the world. He particularly enjoys teaching technical topics such as equity and fixed income valuation, derivatives, quantitative methods,
corporate finance, portfolio management, financial risk management as well as financial modelling using Excel.
Prior to becoming a trainer, Martin worked in the M&A department of a boutique corporate finance advisory firm in Rome, Italy. He valued small and mid-cap Italian companies and prepared financial models on Excel, pitch books and analyst reports.
Martin obtained the CFA charter in 2006, the CAIA charter in 2008 and the FRM charter in 2009.

What happens if I miss a session?
Plan to attend live if you can. Our rollout of Version 2.0 will include session recordings, which will be available in your learning portal one week after class.
Can I still access the platform materials?
Yes, the Live Online Package includes everything in our Learn + Practice Package as well as weekly scheduled online sessions.
How are questions handled during live sessions?
During the live session, submit your questions to our team of moderators. They will manage the QA session and share questions in real time with your instructor. If we run out of time during the live session, unanswered questions will be addressed by the AnalystPrep Ask-a-Tutor team.
Do I need to attend every class?
We highly recommend that you do. But if time and scheduling make it tough to join every week, we recommend prioritizing sessions that cover topics with heavier weighting on the exam and topics you’re struggling with.
