The exam format is multiple choice and computer-based. The CFA exam pass rates and calculations also remain the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the exam tests on these ten core topics. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Quantitative methods<\/li><li>Economics<\/li><li>Financial reporting and analysis<\/li><li>Corporate finance<\/li><li>Equity investments<\/li><li>Fixed income<\/li><li>Derivatives<\/li><li>Alternative investments<\/li><li>Portfolio management<\/li><li>Ethical and professional standards<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The test consists of two 135 minutes sessions covering all the topics in the curriculum with an optional break between the sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another aspect of the CFA exam that remains the same is the exam registration fee. However, if a candidate retakes an exam, there is a $250 rescheduling fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Exam_Study_Tips_for_Level_I_of_the_CFA_exam\"><\/span>Exam Study Tips for Level I of the CFA exam <span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Set up a study routine as soon as possible and adhere to it.
