The candidates get the chance to make these changes at no extra cost or get a refund after a second cancellation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The CFA Institute decided this because of an increased number of COVID 19 cases and following government restrictions in some areas. For that reason, some candidates might not be able to take their exams in February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the CFA Institute is considering limited-capacity online testing by Prometric for February candidates who had to cancel due to COVID 19. However, OPT for candidates in China will not be available because of government restrictions. Nonetheless, this option is still not available on the CFA Institute website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the safety recommendations resulting from the Coronavirus, the CFA Institute added two level I exam sittings and one extra sitting for the other levels. In addition, candidates who had registered for the February 2021 window missed a placement because the testing centers were full.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An additional exam window is open in July, but the dates are unknown. Although the CFA Institute has not opened the registration of this exam window, you can visit their website for any updates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Additional_Exam_Windows_for_Level_II_and_Level_III_CFA_Exam\"><\/span>Additional Exam Windows for Level II and Level III CFA Exam<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the current exam windows, the CFA Institute announced additional testing windows for level II and level III. Therefore, the three exam windows will be in May, August, and November for both levels. The CFA Institute will give more information on the new windows and registration in the coming weeks. You can visit their official website to get more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Rescheduled_Level_I_CFA_Exam_Windows\"><\/span>Rescheduled Level I CFA Exam Windows<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new exam windows as announced by the CFA Institute for level I are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>February 16<sup>th<\/sup> to March 1<sup>st,<\/sup> 2021 for the February exam window<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>May 18<sup>th<\/sup> to May 24<sup>th<\/sup> 2021for the May exam window<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>August 24<sup>th<\/sup> to August 30<sup>th,<\/sup> 2021, for the August exam window<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>November 16<sup>th<\/sup> to November 22<sup>nd,<\/sup> 2021 for the November exam windows<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Registration for the exam windows is open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Rescheduled_Level_II_CFA_Exam_Windows\"><\/span>Rescheduled Level II CFA Exam Windows<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The CFA Institute will offer three exam sittings for level II in 2021 and twice starting in 2022. Therefore, the June 2021 exam sitting will not be available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>May exam window dates are May 25<sup>th<\/sup> to June 1<sup>st,<\/sup> 2021<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>August exam window dates are August 31<sup>st<\/sup> to September 4<sup>th,<\/sup> 2021.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The CFA Institute will announce the November exam window dates soon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The candidates who postponed their exams in 2020 can choose to register for any of the exam windows.
