If it says &#8220;contrast,&#8221; you need to know the differences between similar ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The LOS keep you from wasting time on random details that won&#8217;t be tested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Use the LOS While Studying<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make the LOS part of your daily routine. Before you start a chapter, read them so you know what to look for. Turn each one into a question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the LOS says &#8220;evaluate the impact of different inventory methods,&#8221; your question becomes &#8220;How do LIFO and FIFO change financial ratios when prices are rising?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you&#8217;re reviewing, go through the LOS one by one. Can you explain each one? Can you apply it to a situation you haven&#8217;t seen before?
